that will issue certificates only after professionals have worked for fixed period.
The council has separate guidelines and regulations issued
with the acceptance of all the active members of the governing body of the Council.
The Council registers qualified personnel and Colleges/ University for paramedical
sciences for world-class training and future practice of the profession.
With the limited number of available trained paramedics, the Council aims to minimize the
dearth with qualified and trained personnel and compensate the shortage.
Paramedical Sciences has served as a lateral aid to the medical science, in
terms of diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Their primary role is to provide
advanced pre-hospital medical care to the patients. A paramedic can be defined
as a person who works in a healthcare field in an auxiliary capacity to a physician.
They are specially trained medical technicians certified to provide a wide range
of emergency medical services. With the advent of technological development of
medical sciences, several invasive and non-invasive tools were designed,
that reported a sudden upsurge of trained paramedical manpower for the
operation of these technical inventions in medical sciences. Even though they play
a crucial role in delivering health care, their contribution went un-noticed in
terms of setting up a separate Council/Governing body, with specified
guidelines/regulations to maintain a uniform high quality standard of
training and education of paramedics all over
the nation and register qualified personnel for the free practice of the profession.
In a developing country as India, the rural section is
still left unattended in terms of quality health-care system,
due to the acute shortage of skilled health-care personnel.
This dearth of paramedics has to be compensated with increased
world-class training and education in paramedical sciences to
the youths for catering a quality health-care service to this
needy section of the society. For effective health services now
there is need that entire programme should be at national level
to be reviewed to move with new medical developments. The
responsibilities of community in health have more importance
which should have trained health specialist along with workers and technologists
and should be well equipped to give specified remedies for day to day illness.
All India Allied health and paramedical Council has been established to
workers may get rural atmosphere which may help them to work in rural and
urban areas. So the council is promoting paramedical sciences and health education
in the country also creating a bend of well-trained Para Medical personals
In the year 1981 our beloved priminister (Late) Smt. Indira Gandhi said that
population growth is a problem and to tackle it we will need trained Doctors/technicians
to check this problem also to overcome the diseases

So to achieve this purpose All India Council for Paramedical has
been founded. We have proud to inform that our Institutions stands
